OPEN UNIVERSE PROJECT
Toward a world where “Shall we go to space this weekend?” becomes reality.
The OPEN UNIVERSE PROJECT is a co-creation platform
dedicated to achieving the “democratization of space.”
By bringing together high-altitude balloon technology of Iwaya
— which makes it possible for anyone to freely take a Near Space Flight —
and ideas from around the world, we are transforming space into a place open to all.
The day when we can casually ask,
“Going to space this weekend?”
is fast approaching.
NEAR SPACE FLIGHT
NEAR SPACE FLIGHT
Experience space in a way that is far safer and more affordable than using a rocket.
The answer is: A balloon.
Iwaya Inc.’s gas balloon technology,
which is set to achieve the world’s first commercial Near Space tourism,
will bring a new impact to space development.
Business Co-Creation
Space tourism , which allows anyone to experience Near Space ※safely,
promotes co-creation in diverse areas such as tourism,
branding, and technology development.
※ Near Space refers to the atmospheric layer between approximately 18km and 100km in altitude, bordering outer space.
Participation
Scheme
Within the OPEN UNIVERSE PROJECT, co-creation partners who join through sponsorship agreements are granted rights to jointly promote business development and technological innovation. In principle, we adopt a one company per industry policy for co-creation partners. Companies considering participation are invited to contact us via the CONTACT page.
